Dr. Alanzo Granville is a native of Alabama. He’s a loving husband and father of two boys.
He has worked in the area of visualization since 2009 with exposure to gaming as early as age 4. He has performed research and development in multiple areas including mathematics, visualization, virtual and augmented reality, and serious gaming. He received his B.S. in Mathematics at Alabama State University, M.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Engineering with a specialization in solving interdisciplinary challenges, visualization, and virtual/augmented reality from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Accomplished engineering leader and interdisciplinary technologist with over 23 years of experience, including 15+ years leading complex R&D programs across software engineering, systems integration, simulation, AI/ML, XR (AR/VR/MR), commercial, academia, and aerospace and defense domains. A trusted innovator known for architecting and delivering high-impact solutions at the intersection of immersive technology, autonomous systems, and real-time simulation.
